Kelli at 3 Boys and a Dog has issued a blogging challenge to all bloggers. The first is to set goals for the next 12 weeks. I was really happy (and challenged) when I started writing down Healthy-N-Balanced’s goals for the year (and more specifically for the next 12 weeks). I had a lot of ideas and goals for this blog in my head but to actually write them down made them more real.
The challenge was not only to write them down but also to post about them and share them with you, my wonderful HnB fam. :)
This is the scariest part because when you share a goal-no matter what it may be-with your friends, family, or accountability partner- that means that not only will you have to share your success with them (which is my hope) but you will also have to share your failure should you not succeed at reaching those goals. We all know that it is no fun when you have to say that you have failed.
However, I am looking forward to doing my best to succeed and to actually reaching these goals. A couple of these are BIG goals, that seem nearly impossible however I know there is nothing impossible with God. :) Everyday I submit this blog into His hands and know that no success is of my own doing but only by His mercy and grace. If something doesn’t work out… if I do fail…I believe that He will still use it for my good as His Word states.
I have chosen 4 goals to concentrate on over the next 12 weeks.
1. Move from a wordpress.com to a self-hosted blog.
2. Guest post on 4 blogs.
3. Increase Facebook & Twitter fans by 500. (I see some giveaways in our future :))
4. Add all recipes (with pictures) that are currently on the weekly menu plan.
I want to challenge you to choose 4 goals. It could be personal goals or financial goals. Choose 4 goals that you have for a specific area of your life and focus on those 4 goals (and reaching them) over the next 12 weeks.
