Don’t Say You Will Try…DO!!

As you prepare for a new year filled with new goals, I want to encourage you to not just say you will try to reach your goals…JUST DO IT!
This is a little note I wrote to a friend (and to myself) to remind us of the difference in just trying and actually doing.
When I say, “I will try.” I am giving my self room to fail. I am giving myself an excuse to fail, because then I can always fall back on, “Well at least I tried.” In saying I will try, I’m not committing to do anything except try. But if I say, “I WILL DO…”, then I am setting myself up to succeed. When I say, “I will do…” I am giving my word and in my heart, I have to complete it- otherwise I am a liar. Now, just because I say, “I will do…” doesn’t mean I will always succeed. It means I will do my absolute best to do what I said with no excuse and if I do fail the first time, then I just dust myself off and get back up and try again and again until I succeed. Just because I fail one time doesn’t mean I’m a failure. It just means I need more than one try to succeed!
May you succeed in all you do in 2012! Happy New Year HnB family!

About HnB4life

Hello There ! My name is Tiffany and I am on the journey to find balance in life! Now, I’m not talking about anything kooky or mystical, but real true balance and health in all areas: physical, spiritual, and emotional. I figured I was not the only one looking for these things, and thus this blog was born. I am not an expert in all things healthy nor is my life 100% balanced. However, I have been on this journey for a quite a few years and have learned some things along the way. One of those things is that the start of a healthy and balanced life is a relationship with Jesus Christ, my Savior, my Friend, my Strong Tower, and my Balance in those completely unbalanced moments. If you’d like more information on knowing Jesus Christ, please click here http://www.gotquestions.org/personal-Savior.html Welcome Friend, I look forward to our journey together.
